Each character is presented in historically relevant surrounding to enhance the effect of coming face to face with these villians. Their stories have been carefully researched and included in each scene. Some have been romanticised like Bonnie and Clyde or Jesse James. Infamous gangsters like Al Capone and John Gotti have become cultural icons. Some, like Jack the Ripper, slipped into the night never to be identified. Others met justice at the end of a rope or in front of a firing squad. The age-old curiosity remains; what makes these men and women tick? And how can we be sure they are not walking amongst us?
